Hey gang! Today we're hopping on the LSLL blog tour for Spirit Warriors: The Burning, book 3 in D.E.L. Connor's Spirit Warriors series. When I started this book, I seriously thought that it was going to be more New adult than Young adult, but I would say that's a solid mix of the two. Of course it has the main female character torn between the gentle love she has now, and the hard love she also desires. Keep in mind that this book should be read in sequence. I was a little lost for quite some time trying to understand certain parts of the story. You can still keep up, but it's not as easy as it could be.
I did enjoy the Native American-spirit animal story line. That has always been something that has interested me. I always want to know why people get attached to the animals that they end up with/as. I will most likely go back and read the first 2 books of the series so that I can better understand when the rest are released.
